Chartplotters
The Marine Chartplotter uses a GPS sensor to place a ship cursor on an electronic chart. Depending on the application, most people want it to be as large and as bright as possible. If a chartplotter is direct sunlight viewable, that means that the manufacturer claims that it can be used with sunlight hitting the screen. Daylight viewable means bright day, but not direct sun. If you have an open boat, this is critically important, since you cannot use what you can not see. Call Technical Marine Support at 847-746-0100 or email at john@technicalmarine.com to discuss your marine electronics needs.
