Fishfinders
Fishfinders, also called Sonar, Echo Sounder and Fathometer, use a transducer to detect targets under your boat. Commercial fishermen use high powered broadband transducers with large color displays. Furuno marked the first fish in the 1940’s and their FCV1150 and FCV295 are unsurpassed in the industry.
Fishfinders have evolved to included a wide array of features. For casual fishermen, low power and small displays are fine.
