Fountain 42 Lightning
When we came to this boat, it had three Smart Craft Displays. Two on the starboard side and one on port.
She also had a Garmin 5208 touch screen plotter from Fountain. The customer wanted to add a second Garmin on the port side, but the space was very tight.
A handrail and trim tab controls already crowded the space. By fabricating a panel from 1/4 inch starboard,
We were able to acheive a perfect look, with a matching layout, without repainting or ordering a new dash.
The second Garmin unit is networked to the original one. A Furuno or Northstar chartplotter would have been better here, but all in all, it came out very well.
